Moving Families from Crisis to Stability
At the 100 Families Initiative, our mission is not simply to help families through today’s crisis—it is to help them achieve lasting stability. Through HopeHub, we have a clear, measurable way to track progress and ensure that families are moving toward a healthier, stronger, and more secure future.
Unlike many programs that measure success only by the number of people served, HopeHub measures whether lives are truly being transformed.
What Does Stability Mean?
HopeHub defines stability using objective, data-driven outcomes. A family is considered stable when they entered the program in crisis, completed at least two assessments, demonstrated measurable improvement in their Strengthening Family Index (SFI), and achieved an employment score of 4 or 5, indicating stable or sustained employment.
This definition recognizes that stability is not the absence of problems—it is the measurable progress a family makes as they build a stronger foundation for the future. Housing, employment, financial wellness, mental health, education, transportation, and supportive relationships all work together to create lasting change.
Measuring Lives Changed
Every assessment tells a family’s story. It reveals where they started, the barriers they faced, and the progress they have made through coordinated support from churches, nonprofits, businesses, government agencies, and caring community partners.
Since launching the 100 Families Initiative, we have served 157 families. Of those, 117 families have completed updated assessments, allowing us to measure their progress over time. Most importantly, 43 families have successfully moved from crisis to stability.
These numbers represent far more than statistics. They represent parents securing stable employment, families finding safe housing, individuals overcoming trauma, and children growing up in healthier, more stable environments.
Building a Cathedral of Hope
At HopeHub, stability is more than a score—it is transformation. Every assessment completed, every partnership formed, and every service coordinated helps a family take one more step toward stability.
Together, we are building a Cathedral of Hope—one family, one relationship, and one step at a time.
