HopeHub: Turning Collaboration into Action

Kelly Haynie, Dr. Kue, and Yarden Blumstein at the September 100 Families Alliance meeting.

One of the highlights of our September 100 Families Alliance meeting was a powerful presentation by Kelly Haynie, Director of Program Innovations at Child & Family Charities, who demonstrated how HopeHub can transform the way organizations work together to support families.

Kelly shared a challenge many providers understand: families are often working with several organizations at the same time, yet those organizations may not be communicating with one another. Families may have to repeat their stories, services can be duplicated, and providers may not know what other members of the family’s care team are doing.

Through a live demonstration, Kelly showed how HopeHub creates a more coordinated approach. With the participant’s consent, providers can see the organizations involved with a family, identify needs, develop an action plan, make connections to resources, and communicate updates through a shared message board. HopeHub also includes safeguards to protect participant information.

Kelly also introduced an exciting new feature that allows providers and participants to communicate securely through HopeHub. Participants can access their action plans through their own portal, helping them remain actively engaged in their journey toward stability.

Most importantly, the presentation moved people from learning to action. Three organizations signed up for HopeHub during the Alliance meeting.

That is what “Unity in Action” looks like—organizations choosing to connect, communicate, and work together so that families are surrounded by a coordinated circle of support.

As the HopeHub network continues to grow, so does our capacity to help families move from crisis to stability and ultimately to thriving.
