As we step into 2026, the January Alliance Meeting will set the foundation for a year defined by one guiding theme: Unity — Wider & Deeper. This gathering is more than a meeting; it is a strategic moment to align our vision, strengthen our partnerships, and chart a path forward that elevates our collective impact across Ingham County.
Unity that grows wider calls us to extend our reach. The success of the 100 Families Initiative has shown that transformation happens when agencies, churches, schools, health providers, and community partners come together around a shared mission. But there are still families we have not yet reached—and still partners who have not yet joined this movement. In 2026, we want to widen the table by inviting new sectors, new organizations, and new leaders into the work. Our January meeting will include a discussion on identifying key partners who can strengthen our ecosystem—such as workforce agencies, recovery services, businesses, school districts, and faith communities that have not yet engaged. Together, we will map out how to expand our alliance so no family walks alone.
Unity that grows deeper is the second pillar of our theme. Deep unity is not simply collaboration—it is coordinated action rooted in trust, shared data, and a commitment to outcomes. At this meeting, we will explore how to deepen relationships among partners, improve communication, and strengthen cross-agency case coordination. We will also discuss how HopeHub can continue to anchor our shared work by giving us real-time visibility into what families need, what supports are available, and how we can respond faster and more effectively.
During the January meeting, we will also invite partners to reflect on the greatest challenges facing our community—housing, mental health access, childcare shortages, employment barriers—and begin shaping a collective agenda for the coming months. This will be a “community-led, community-built” conversation, with table leaders guiding small-group discussions to ensure every voice is heard.
Our goal is simple: to begin 2026 united in purpose, aligned in strategy, and ready to go wider and deeper than ever before.
We invite every partner, volunteer, advocate, and leader to join us on January 22. Together, we will build a stronger, more connected ecosystem—one that gives every family a pathway from crisis to stability.
