A Year of Courage, Collaboration, and Community Transformation

In 2025, something extraordinary unfolded in Ingham County. What began as a small but determined vision—to build a united community where families in crisis could find real, lasting stability—grew into a movement touching nearly every corner of our region. This year, the 100 Families Initiative walked alongside 99 families, each carrying a deeply personal story of struggle, resilience, and hope. Because of your partnership, 24 families moved from crisis to stability, taking courageous steps toward safer housing, steady income, stronger family structures, and restored confidence.

Our data tells a powerful story. In just one year, we saw a 250% increase in housing stability. This is not a statistic pulled from a national report or a theoretical model. This number comes directly from the families we serve and the work we track every single day. Through HopeHub, our shared data and communication platform, every agency records the services they provide, the needs identified, and the goals each family sets. Family Advocates input updates after every conversation, home visit, or interaction, allowing us to monitor progress in real time.

Because of this data, we know when a family is stabilizing—and we also know when they are slipping. The moment a challenge arises, our team and partners can respond quickly, preventing families from falling back into crisis. Data becomes more than numbers; it becomes a lifeline.

Our coalition is now made up of 85+ active partners—churches, nonprofits, schools, government agencies—working together each month. This unity does not happen by accident. It is the product of intentional collaboration, transparent communication, and a shared belief that no family should face hardship alone. Our 11+ trained Family Advocates form the frontline of this movement, walking beside families with compassion and persistence, ensuring they have both support and accountability.

Data is not just how we measure success—it is how we build it. It helps us identify trends, reduce duplication, strengthen partnerships, and focus our resources where they make the greatest impact. Most importantly, data preserves dignity. Instead of seeing families as problems to solve, we see their progress, their strengths, and their victories.

As we reflect on 2025, we celebrate a year defined by courageous families, committed partners, and a community that refused to remain divided. Every number tells a story of hope restored—and because of you, that story continues into 2026 with even greater unity, wider reach, and deeper impact.
