In this episode of From Crisis to Stability, Dr. Eleanore Kue shares the story behind the 100 Families Initiative. After years of serving patients as a physician, she realized that medical care alone could not address the root causes of crisis, such as housing instability, food insecurity, unemployment, and trauma. Families were often referred from one agency to another but continued to struggle because support systems were fragmented.

The 100 Families Initiative was created to bring organizations together, coordinate care through HopeHub, and provide Family Advocates who walk alongside families on their journey to stability. The initiative is built on the belief that lasting change happens through relationships, collaboration, and addressing the root causes of poverty—not just the symptoms.
